SOLD - 2007 John How Guitars Ladder Braced Grand Concert - Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar

We saw this guitar at the Healdsburg Guitar Festival and were drawn to it's beautiful vintage appearance and 1800s styling. Owner Paul Heumiller played this ladder braced beauty and was immediately impressed with the throaty growl that this guitar puts forth from it's Mahogany and Adirondack body. John's mustache style bridge, slotted headstock, complete ivoroid bindings including the soundhole, sunburst and intricate rope style purflings on the top and back make this one striking guitar. We are proud to have this new relationship with John How Guitars.

Dream Guitars Player's Review:
"John makes his guitars with both ladder and X bracing. This ladder braced version has a real throaty growl that is perfect for blues, rags, slide, old time, etc. It immediately takes you back to the guitars of yesteryear. John puts a lot of effort into the detail on his guitars also, matching bindings everywhere, top and back rope purfling, the mustache bridge, etc. This is an amazing little guitar worth its weight in smiles." - Paul Heumiller

"This is a fantastic little guitar perfect for all types of fingerstyle playing ." - Al Petteway

Another Satisfied Dream Guitars Customer:
