SOLD - 2008 Maingard Guitars Grand Concert Acoustic Guitar

Builder Marc Maingard has a wonderful stash of perfect Cedar tops that he got from classical maker Jose Oribe. Knowing this we custom ordered this alluring Florentine cutaway Grand Concert. We requested a wonderful set of Marc's dynamic Brazilian Rosewood and the special fingerboard crafted of bookmatched Brazilian Rosewood with wonderful colors. In fact, the same piece of Brazilian extends from the headstock down the fingerboard in lush harmony. This really is a breathtaking guitar, but you have to play to find it's true beauty. The voice is simply magical. For starters it's very loud and responsive and it is also very clear and balanced, with a powerful bass and articulate and strong trebles. We are thrilled with this custom ordered Maingard.
