Mark Blanchard's Bristlecone model is slightly larger than an OM in size, and this one offers up the immediate response, beautifully assertive mids, and overall clarity that class is known for. The highly figured Madagascar Rosewood on this instrument is quite stunning, the European Spruce a lovely complement. This one has the Manzer wedge body design so it's extremely comfortable. Fingerstylists and single-line players who favor a smaller bodied guitar should enjoy this instrument as much as we have.
